Cery Perle, CEO

Mr. Perle has extensive experience starting, leading and growing companies, including CLP Industries. Mr. Perle's financial management and capital management experience stems from his tenure as President & CEO of a national, NASD-registered company. After losing his own files and trying complicated store-bought products to recover lost data, Mr. Perle founded Spare Backup with the objective of providing a simple solution. He set out to provide the same care his clients had received with their finances but extended it to their data.

Ivor Newman, Vice President of Operations

Mr. Newman has over 19 years of program management and product marketing experience. Prior to joining Spare Backup, Mr. Newman was the Worldwide cross line of business (X-Lob) Program Manager for Dell Inc. where he was responsible for the successful creation and implementation of global services programs. Mr. Newman joined Dell in 1999 and was intimately involved with the global services division. Prior to working for Dell, Mr. Newman was the District Director for a professional services corporation in New York City.

Darryl Adams, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Adams has been with Spare Backup since October 2006. Mr. Adams has 13 years experience programming, engineering, and managing client and server software development applications. Prior to joining Spare Backup, Mr. Adams was a lead software engineer for Automated Trading Desk, LLC. where he was responsible for mathematical modeling and analysis, software design, development, and maintenance of the price prediction applications used for automated trading of stocks. Mr. Adams founded and operated Cinderblock, Inc., a software consulting company, served as a software engineer for internet startup Click Radio, Inc., and as a Software Development consultant for Johnson and Johnson working on medical imaging software. Mr. Adams holds a double-BA in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ohio Wesleyan University and a MS in Mathematics from the College of Charleston.

Tom Fisher, Senior Technology Advisor to the Board

Tom Fisher was the CIO and Senior VP of Information Technology at DriveCam, bringing over 26 years of experience in the software industry. Prior positions include VP IT at Qualcomm Corp., VP Technology & Strategy and CTO of eBay, and VP Architecture and Security at Gateway Computers. Fisher is an active advisor to several leading VC firms including Clearstone Capital, Foundation Capital, JMI and Odyssey Venture Capital. He has also been an advisor to Oracle's Database Technology Advisory Board, the Agile Technical Advisory Board, Google's CIO Advisory Board as well as several private company advisory boards.
