How do I cancel?

For your security, requests to terminate accounts MUST originate from the registered e-mail account at Spare Backup addressed to help@sparebackup.com. Under no circumstances will a cancellation request received via the phone or chat be accepted. Please include your account name and the reason for your cancellation. Files are deleted 7 days after cancellation/suspension of service. Please retain your cancellation confirmation for your records.

 

Note: We also suggest you uninstall Spare Backup by following one of these instructions:

 

For Windows XP:

  1. Click the Start button.

  2. Click Control Panel.

  3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.

  4. Scroll the list to find Spare Backup and then click on Spare Backup.

  5. Click the Remove button and then follow the prompts to remove.

 

For Vista:

  1. Click the Start button.

  2. Click Control Panel.

  3. Double-click Programs and Features or Programs.

  4. Scroll the list to find Spare Backup and then double-click on Spare Backup.

  5. Click the Yes button and then follow the prompts to remove.
