Why can I not restart my data transfer after I moved my computer or made changes to my network settings?

If you are performing a data transfer and have moved your computer to a different network or have made changes to your network settings, you will need to close the Spare Backup Data Transfer program and then restart it.

 

To close the program, perform the following:

  1. Position your mouse pointer on top of the Spare Backup System Tray Icon and right-click on it.

  2. Click Exit.

 

To restart the program, perform the following:

  1. Find the Spare Backup icon on your desktop and double-click it.

or

  1. Click the Windows Start button.

  2. Click All Programs.

  3. Click Spare Backup.

  4. Then click Spare Backup to restart the program.
